Who needs a wheatgrass shot when you’ve got a Gatorade cupcake?
It’s been a really big year for Kickass queen Sara Ross; this summer, she took her Kickass Cupcake truck on the road. Now, Grub Street learns that Whole Foods has plans to stock her organic, dye/trans-fat/badness-free treats. Sweet!
Four packs of specialty flavors, designed especially for the holidays, are on shelves now; look for suitably festive flavors like Chocolate Peppermint and Cinnamon Pumpkin, with other flavors to appear soon. They’ll be available at every Whole Foods in New England.
Of course, if you’re part of the Jamaica Plain Whole Foods protesting contingent, you can still get your cupcake fix at her brick-and-mortar bakery in Davis Square.
