On December 1st, Melisse chef Josiah Citrin will join Joe Miller for a five-course dinner at Joe’s, where the double Michelin-starred Citrin not only used to work, but also had his first date with his wife. Citrin, who has a busy month ahead with the publication of his In Pursuit of Excellence, will prepare dishes like a Maine lobster bolognese with brown butter sauce on handmade cappellini, and prime rib eye with braised beef cheeks, on a menu priced at $95 per person ($45 extra for wine pairings). The second of Miller’s “12 Chefs, 12 Months, 12 Charities” guest-chef series, this date with Citrin happens to land on Miller’s own birthday, though it will be St. Vincent’s Meals on Wheels reaping the rewards of this particular evening. See Citrin’s full menu below and make reservations for this five-course affair at 310-399-5811.
