Hot Knives Release Their First Cookbook

Alex Brown and Evan George, who together form the vegetarian cooking crew, Hot Knives, have released their first cookbook, a tome titled The Hot Knives Vegetarian Cookbook: Salad Daze. The Eastsider L.A. says it combines the chefs’ recipes for dishes like squash ice cream and homemade sriracha with soundtrack suggestions and the "chatty" rapport the guys developed on their blog. Come check them out during a signing this Saturday at Echo Park’s Stories and taste their own easy-to-make cough-syrup, which might be worth the book’s $25 cost alone. [The Eastsider L.A.]
