Pizza Wars

Dollar-Slice Race on Sixth Avenue

Here at Grub, we try to bring you every update on the city’s burgeoning dollar-slice scene, and today Midtown Lunch writes about two warring pizza joints on Sixth Avenue. It seems the recently-ish installed 2 Bros. Pizza is duking it out with the shop selling dollar slices two doors down. It’s gotten so bad, the spots are now in a pricing war over their lunchtime specials — both are charging $2.50 for two slices and a soda, which is a pretty great deal. This isn’t the first time 2 Bros. has tried to move in and push out the dollar-slice competition. Who knew buck pizza could be so contentious? [Midtown Lunch]
