Here’s a neighborhood that doesn’t get a lot of airplay on the blogs: Crocker-Amazon. But today Grub Street discovers a new pub in the works in the former Geneva Pizza & Grill spot at 942 Geneva Avenue (near Mission) called The Dark Horse Inn. Co-owners Andrea Ferrucci and Sean Ingram are readying what appears to be a straight-up beer bar with eight local craft brews on tap (plus Miller High Life) and a food menu heavy on the sandwiches, subs, and burgers, with some wings thrown in.
They’ve landed a temporary liquor license, they say they’re opening “very soon,” and their Facebook shows the remodel well underway, so we put this opening out just a week or so pending further confirmation.
