Boston Boutique Hotel to Get A Restaurant: What Should It Be?

Quiet, cute little Bay Village is getting its very own boutique hotel (called, logically enough, the Boston Boutique Hotel). And to go along with it, owners are looking for a restaurant to buy the first-floor space. The Herald says that the South End Buttery almost wanted in but ended up going with another spot due to red-tape woes. So: Who should move in?

Jamie Bissonnette is currently working on a new endeavor; might he want to take the spot? We’re not sure he’d want to split his time between there and the South End. Evan Deluty, perhaps, after his feuds with South Enders wary of his plans for a Latin eatery?

Darryl’s restaurant owner Darryl Settles is a collaborator on the hotel deal, so why not him? We have plenty of time to speculate, at any rate: The hotel and restaurant won’t open in the leafy, low-key ‘hood until 2013. [Herald]
