According to the Brooklyn Paper, Josh Rubin, the owner of Whisk in Ditmas Park who disappeared two weeks ago, was trying to sublet his apartment just a day before he went missing. In other words, he might have been planning his escape. Zach Boyce, a neighbor, says he discussed taking over Rubin’s room and had visited the apartment just a day before Josh vanished. “He told me that he was getting a house with some better friends of his,” says Boyce. Grub Street knows Rubin personally and urges anybody who knows anything to please contact the 70th Precinct at 718-851-5557. [Brooklyn Paper]
