A New Twist in Josh Rubin’s Troubling Disappearance

A slightly hopeful clue in the case.

A slightly hopeful clue in the case.

According to the Brooklyn Paper, Josh Rubin, the owner of Whisk in Ditmas Park who disappeared two weeks ago, was trying to sublet his apartment just a day before he went missing. In other words, he might have been planning his escape. Zach Boyce, a neighbor, says he discussed taking over Rubin’s room and had visited the apartment just a day before Josh vanished. "He told me that he was getting a house with some better friends of his," says Boyce. Grub Street knows Rubin personally and urges anybody who knows anything to please contact the 70th Precinct at 718-851-5557. [Brooklyn Paper]
