The long wait is over, kids. Umami Burger opens on Saturday, albeit softly, at Union and Fillmore in Cow Hollow (the former Jovino). Owner Adam Fleischman will be flying up from L.A. for a friends-and-family preview event tomorrow (the restaurant won’t be open to the public tomorrow as previously announced) and the official opening will be Monday, when the regular schedule will begin. Update: We now have the menu for you, which includes a new burger exclusive to the S.F. location: the bacon-wrapped scallop burger. See it all below.

We are expecting to be astounded and amazed by their burger artistry, but we’re also taking all the praise with a grain of salt — the backlash against this once gushed-about Los Angeles mini-chain has already begun down south.
