Nothing Is Sacred: H&H Factory Might Eat It

Holes in the story.

It’s a bagel landmark, but last week, some poppy-seed-hating judge "cleared the way" for H&H; to be evicted from its only remaining space, the huge factory on West 46th Street that produces millions of bagels for distribution every day. This could ruin everything that’s left for the already down-and-out owners, who have let go "almost half of the employees," allegedly owe $600,000 in rent, and whose iconic 80th Street store was shut a few months ago. Teardrops, toasted with butter, please. [WSJ]
