NYC Chefs to Grace Palm Beach Festival

Chefs hit the beach.
Chefs hit the beach.

A bunch of big-name, New York chefs are bringing their sun-deprived selves to the Palm Beach Food and Wine Festival, which, in its fifth year, is expanding from a small three-hour Worth Avenue event to a larger, multi-locale four-day fest from December 9 through 13. In addition to southern stars like Michelle Bernstein, Michael Schwartz, and Ingrid Hoffman, New York super-chefs Scott Conant, John DeLucie, and David Burke will head down to cook Saturday at the Breakers, and Daniel Boulud will host a cocktail reception on Sunday at his Café Boulud and the Brazilian Court gardens. Says Boulud: “Palm Beach is an exceptional little enclave, like a mini tropical 10021 by the sea, only with better cocktail parties … Now the new Palm Beach Food and Wine Festival is putting the town on the culinary map.”
