Hey home cooks, think you’ve got the skills to be a cooking show celebrity? Can you stomach having Gordon Ramsay, Joe Bastianich, and Graham Elliott play Simon Cowell with your pot roast? Then you may want to consider auditioning for the next season of Fox’s Masterchef, the culinary talent search that finds one average Joe or Jane taking home $250,000. Open casting calls will be held all over the U.S., including a stop at a to be decided upon location in San Francisco on December 10th, but the first will be in L.A. on October 29th at Le Cordon Bleu at 6370 Sunset Blvd. from 10:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M.

To audition, you’ll have to stomach a short video of Gordon Ramsay acting nice (he can be so sweet when he wants something) and then download the show’s application. You’ll also have to make a dish and bring it to the cattle open call. Hopeful masters are also encouraged to pre-register, and thankfully no amateur chefs will face serious Ramsay-approved abuse until shooting starts.
