Top Chef finalist, 10 Arts chef and Philadelphia food fan favorite Jennifer Carroll will pack her knives and go home tonight, ending her celebrated tenure at Eric Ripert’s local outpost. Where she’s going next remains up in the air, but on several occasions Carroll has alluded to a desire to own her own place. But before she exits the kitchen at 10 Arts for the last time, she’s participating in tonight’s Celebrity Chef Tour Dinner, a benefit for the James Beard Foundation that will also feature dishes from her homies Beard award-winner and Zahav chef-owner Michael Solomonov, Meme’s David Katz, Barbuzzo’s Marcie Turney, Top Chef champ Kevin Sbraga, and Osteria’s Jeff Michaud.

10 Arts pastry chef Monica Glass is serving up her sugary sweet creations, and mixologists like Oyster House’s Katie Loeb, Farmers’ Cabinet’s Phoebe Esmon and Franklin Mortgage’s Al Sotack will contribute original cocktails. Other participating chefs include Adam Sobel from Washington D.C.’s Bourbon Steak, fellow Top Chef contender Eli Kirstein, and Victor Albisu from D.C.’s BLT Steak.

A cocktail reception at 6 p.m. will be followed by a seven-course dinner with wine pairings. The cost is $180 per person, and seatings are still available. Check out the website www.celebritycheftour.com to make a reservation.
