Alinea’s Grant Achatz is the featured speaker at Harvard’s Science + Cooking lecture series this evening. He’ll discuss Food Texture and Mouth Feel. Of course, after all that talking about food, the guy has to eat some of it himself. But where, you ask? We think we know.

Rumor has it that Achatz will alight at Jason Bond’s acclaimed, Bon Appétit award-winning Bondir after his talk. So if you can’t snag a seat at Harvard, you might consider shuffling over to Area IV. (Not like it’s so very easy to land a seat at Bondir, either, but maybe we can lurk outside.) We do hope that Achatz gets enough to drink, wherever he ends up: We also hear that, during last year’s visit, he was somewhat dismayed by the fact that Boston bars close on the early side. Us too, Mr. Achatz!
