After some delays, the second location of Franois Payard Bakery is now serving breakfast, lunch, and early dinner in
Batter Battery Park City. You'll find the same lineup of croissants and other pastries, macarons, and sandwiches as on Houston Street; new lunchtime additions for the financial district midday crowd include a barbecue-chicken sandwich and a French dip. Hours are Monday to Friday 7 a.m. to 8 p.m., and 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekends. Between this and that special Momo Milk Bar location (not to mention the reputed Shake Shack grill), Goldman fat cats will need to start letting out their pants.
