Tonight and tomorrow, Bistrot La Minette’s Peter Woolsey is hosting “Dinner in Burgundy,” a four-course dinner highlighting the flavors, ingredients and traditions of Burgundian cuisine. Woolsey is particularly fond of this region of France, and that affinity isn’t solely based on the highly regarded wine and foods from there. His wife and her family are from an area near the Burgundian capitol, Dijon. The $35 ($50 with wine pairings) consists of earthy, rich and simply prepared dishes that showcase the ingredients native to the region. Check Bistrot La Minette’s website for the menu.
