More Thoughts on Critics; Flavor Memories From Nana

Earlier today, we reported that George Mendes wants George Clooney to become the New York Times’ new restaurant critic, but over at Time magazine, Josh Ozersky has fleshed out some other, slightly more rational suggestions, like forming a tag team of critics to file their work under one pen name (okay, fine — Clooney, Pitt, and Damon?). He also wants them to revamp the star system, nix anonymity, and pick a writer who can stick to hard facts, not personal feelings. Speaking of feelings, Ozersky has another story out about his nana’s wontons — it’s so sweet, even a critic could cry. [Time, Rachael Ray]
