Mixed Reviews on Schweddy Balls

Dangling between good and bad.

Over at HuffPo, a taste test of Ben & Jerry's Schweddy Balls didn't go too well, with comments like, "Schweddy Balls suffers from the unfortunate problem of un-ballsyness," and "The freezing of a malt ball is sort of a weird texture." But when Grub Street caught up with the ultimate source on all things ball-oriented, the Meatball Shop guys (who were at an All-Clad food demo at Bloomingdale's), they went absolutely nuts over it. The ever-articulate Daniel Holzman even said of the flavor, "Not only have I heard about it, but it’s absolutely scrump-diddly-umtious. Our favorite." [HuffPo]
