Let the cupcake wars officially begin. Magnolia Bakery, which ignited the miniature dessert boom well over ten years ago, will open its very first Chicago location this Saturday, October 1. Of course, the shop sells more than just cupcakes. As the bakery would like to make clear, you’ll also be able to find cakes, pies, cookies, brownies, breakfast muffins, and many other pastries. Located in the Loop at Block 37, the doors officially open at 10 a.m. If you can’t find it, we suggest you just look for the insanely long line.

Friday - 7:30 a.m. to midnight
Saturday 8:00 a.m. to midnight
Sunday 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.
