Last we checked in on Lucky Old Souls, the jazz joint that Matthew “Feldie” Feldman was working on near 17th and McKean streets, the project was a ways away. Before the end of the year is the best guess for an opening date. In the meantime, it seems as if Feldman has another project that’s getting ready to roll. It’s Lucky Old Souls Burger Truck, and from its name you can infer that its going to specialize in hamburgers. City Paper’s A.D. Amorosi dropped the preliminary details last week, and Meal Ticket followed through with news that the mobile munchie machine is the former Renaissance Sausage truck, which decided to end its four wheeled operations back in July.
