Legal Harborside in Breach of Contract Dispute

Even an institution like Legal Sea Foods isn’t immune to litigation: Their flashy new Harborside branch, the three-story megaplex billed as the empire’s new flagship, is coming under scrutiny over allegations of pending rent default. The Liberty Wharf location pays more than $10,000 per month to Cresset Harborside LLC, per the Herald; Legal claims they’re paying more than they should due to misinterpretation of a clause in their contract. Cresset claims they’re not paying the full amount demanded. According to the story, Legal has sought arbitration but has been rebuffed, and now they’re seeking a court ruling.
