L.A. food writers loooove dishing on Dia de los Muertos. It’s a big bag of culture under an edgy and slightly spooky theme, with a couple of seasonal snacks attached that make for great photos and lurid descriptions. None of which really clarifies why The L.A. Times’ Daily Dish blog is already writing about Hollywood Forever’s October 22nd Day of the Dead celebration today.
