Culver City: Even before the first makes an appearance, plans are already laid for a second location of San Diego’s Burger Lounge. [Swuid Ink]
Downtown: The Tasting Kitchen’s Casey Lane is opening his own restaurant, what he calls a “true gastropub,” in the former Angelique Cafe space. Something is definitely happening at Wabi Sabi too and Eater reports that Lane will open a French-Mediterranean restaurant named Belle Peche in its place. [Eater]
–The Edison brings back its guest-mixologist series The Radio Room tonight, with appearances expected from Alex Straus of Hemingway’s and San Francisco’s Bon Vivants. [Squid Ink]
