Batter Bakery Comes to Polk, New Taste Marketplace Returns, and More

Russian Hill: Batter Bakery, which had been operating out of a tiny kiosk in the FiDi, has moved to permanent digs at 2127 Polk Street, with co-tenant Square Meals. [Scoop]
Mission: Mohave, the southwestern-themed restaurant that was slated to go into the Bombay Bazar space on Valencia, looks to be changing concept slightly, in order not to step on the toes of next-door Puerto Allegre. The new working title is West of Pecos, and it’s an Old West-themed concept with “rustic” American comfort food. [Eater, Earlier]
Potrero Hill: New Taste Marketplace returns this Saturday from noon to 5 p.m. at a church at 500 DeHaro. [SFoodie]
Sixth Street: Passion Café is offering a happy hour with $3 Stellas and $5 charcuterie and cheese plates. [7x7]
