Set among the stunning surrounds of Saddlerock Ranch and vineyards in Malibu, the tasting gala provides a smattering of great restaurants, engaging chef demos, and a menagerie that includes llamas, zebra, and camels, sights strange to California that double your confusion after throwing back a few. Who will be there this year?
The magazine has just announced its lineup for the October event, and so far, it looks excellent. Nancy Silverton will be there repping Short Order, Cleo and Mezze will be there to duke it out in person, and chefs like Jeff Cerciello, David Lefevre, and Brendan Collins will offer their food, while Ricardo Zarate, Quinn and Karen Hatfield, and Bouchon’s Rory Herrmann host cooking demos.
