Where You Can Still Buy Nice Cream; USA Today Offers Dining Advice for Bored Travelers

Various Locations: After getting shut down by the state for not having dairy license, Nice Cream can’t produce any more ice cream, but it can sell previously made batches. Apparently stashes are still available at The Dill Pickle Co-Op in Logan Square and Green Grocer Chicago in Noble Square. In the meantime, the company has raised nearly $5,000 on Kickstarter and Revolution Brewing is hosting a fundraiser on Sunday, August 28 to help Nice Cream out. [Trib, Chicagoist]

River North: Last week it was Ruxbin’s turn in the spotlight, but this week GT Fish & Oyster, Next, and Aviary get a nod from USA Today. The acclaimed spots are highlighted as a few of the “14 trendy new dining spots for bored business travelers.” [USA Today]

Lombard: DMK is set to open its second location on Tuesday, August 23rd. The suburban location will feature the same menu as the first location in Lakeview. [Grub Street]
