Worried about the invasion of all those supposedly evil Wal-Marts? Well, the vegans are striking back with Native Foods Cafe, a new chain that plans to expand quickly in the city, opening three locations in the next three months. Can’t wait to get your hands on a sausage seitan meatball sub or a sesame kale macro bowl? You’re in luck, as the first location opens today in Wicker Park. See what other vegan delights you’ll be able to score by checking out the full menu below.

Native Foods Cafe actually started in California in 1994, but, as the Tribune reports, the company decided to move its headquarters to Chicago. This will put the company in better position to expand on the East Coast, as well.

First up, however, are two more locations in Chicago. A Lakeview location will open on August 30, which will be followed by a Loop location on October 1. That could be followed by a series of suburban locations.

But let’s not get too ahead of ourselves. The Wicker Park location will be open seven days a week for lunch and dinner. It will also serve local beers and a collection of affordable wine. You can see it all today starting at 11 a.m., but you should probably peruse the menu first.
