It’s finally happening: The long-delayed new location of the 2nd Avenue Deli will open its doors on August 16, immediately following the ceremonial cutting of the salami links known as “Nickel Shtickel.” Owner Josh Lebewohl confirmed the date for the 70-seat deli earlier today.
