This morning the 312 Dining Diva reminded us that voting is still open for the next mobile contestants for The Great Food Truck Race’s third season. Since The Southern Mac & Cheese Truck is the only local option, we think that it’s kind of your Chicago duty to go vote for them. But she also dropped a hint that the mac and cheese concept is looking to open a permanent location in the Loop. No exact address has been announced, but owner James Lasky claims that it might be ready to open as early as mid-September. [312 Dining Diva]
