Can you survive on fries alone?

Not that we need that much of an excuse to eat more French fries, but to celebrate National Potato Day restaurants around town are offering their golden fried spuds for free today. Want to make a day of it and stuff your face with as much free food as possible? We suggest you start at The Counter in Lakeview for lunch, where you’ll be able to pick up a complimentary side of fries with any purchase. Then, starting at 3 p.m., you can make your way over to any of the Epic Burger locations and sample their freshly-cut offerings. After that…well, that’s probably enough for one day. [Grub Street]
