At Least It’s A Tiny State

If you’re planning on dining out in Rhode Island in the coming few days, be careful. Rhode Island’s Health Department is in the process of inspecting restaurants that lost power during Tropical Storm Irene. About 2,000 eateries need to be scoured for spoiled food and the like, which hopefully won’t take too long, since 11 inspectors are on the case. At the very least, we recommend avoiding zeppole for the next couple of weeks. [AP, Earlier]
