Windows Lounge at The Four Seasons in Beverly Hills recently refreshed its outer appearance. Now chef Ashely James is adding a selection of street eats to the menu, marking a new high-ground for the craze that seemed to peak two years ago. The selection looks like it could have been stripped from Susan Feniger’s Street, full of far-flung bites from Indian and Southeast Asian recipes, with a bright and bursting, fruity salad at the top, and generous influences from South of the Border. One must wonder if serving street food at the Beverly Hills Four Seasons officially takes any of its street cred, but still, it’s hard to resist mini carnitas tortas and a Singaporean carrot cake scramble with eggs and a daikon rice pancake. Check out Windows Lounge’s first full “StrEat Menu,” served daily after 4:00 P.M., below.
