A while back we mentioned that Dunkin’ Donuts had its sights set on the first floor space at the corner of 18th and Moravian. Now it’s looking like that plan is off, but according to Naked Philly, another, much sweeter tenant has signed a lease on the property. Apparently the plan to install Dunkin’ didn’t go over so well with the neighbors and it was ultimately rejected by the Zoning Board. And now rather than another Dunkin’ Donuts, the space is going to become one of the 200 outposts that New York-based Crumbs Bake Shop is rolling out nationwide as part of an aggressive expansion strategy.
