Remember that BBQ Peach beer David Burke was brewing up a few months ago over on Grub Street Boston? Well, it’s at last August and time to indulge in a brew that’s “a little bit spicy, a little bit floral, and ‘perfect with Chinese sausage,’” as Burke promises. Grub Street hears that all four of the chef’s NYC restaurants (that’s Fishtail, Townhouse, Bloomingdale’s, and David Burke Kitchen, to you) are getting the suds, which will sell for around $7 a bottle. Bruce Young, the beverage director at David Burke Kitchen and its rooftop bar, David Burke Garden, says he’ll start pouring the brew “as soon as we have it” — look for that by the end of the week, in time for your weekend drinking plans.
