This season, high-end Mexican was all the rage. Next season, could it be Asian small plates? We think so!
Red Lantern just opened, as did Southie Asian tapas parlor Owl Station. Meanwhile, Patricia Yeo is slated to launch small-platery Moksa in Central Square within the next few months, and now the South End Patch reports that Zai, in the old Joe V’s space, will open in September.
Per the Patch, Zai will be a casual drop-in yakitori spot that “plans to cater exclusively to South End residents.” In other words: Don’t expect valet parking. Don’t expect to pay too much, either. Sounds good to us!
