What better way to work off those delicious burrito carb-bombs? The fifth annual Anna’s Walqueria for charity happens on August 14, and they’re currently signing up walkers.
Here’s the deal: Contestants (you can run, but we don’t recommend consuming burritos before sprinting) will complete 13.1 miles, starting at the Brookline branch at 10:30 a.m. and visiting all six Anna’s Taqueria locations along the route.
Per Walqueria organizers, Anna’s will dole out free food (burritos, quesadillas, guac, and refreshing beverages) to all participants. They’ll also make a $5 donation to the Home for Little Wanderers for each store that each walker visits. (Tips for staff are welcome, of course.)
Follow the Walqueria organizers on Twitter to sign up and learn more. Sounds way more virtuous than a pub crawl.
