Tres Celebrates Cali Olive Oil with Free Tasting

On July 26th, Tres at the SLS Hotel will team up chef Joe Anguiano and reps from California Olive Ranch, a 700-acre farm in Oroville bought by a group of entrepreneurs in an attempt to produce a state-raised olive oil of high quality. As part of the SLS Tastings by Jose Andres series, the public is invited to a free tasting of the company’s line of olive oils, along with cheese, bread, and marinated olives from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. It’s not exactly dishes from The Bazaar and Andres himself won’t be there, but it’s likely his spherified olives could make an appearance. Reservations are required for this free event, via email.
