We told you they were in empire-building mode, and fast on the heels of their downtown opening, Super Duper is set to take over the Johnny Rockets location at 2201 Chestnut Street. The Scoop was the first to spot the liquor license, and the timing isn’t totally clear — Johnny Rockets, you should note, will likely remain open another month or two. Though this will be Super Duper’s third S.F. location, it will actually be the budding burger chain’s fourth Bay Area location after their Mill Valley spot opens later this summer, in a former Jack in the Box (430 Miller Avenue).
