Sonoma’s MarketHall Project Is Dead; The Barlow Moves Ahead in Sebastopol

The Barlow

Anyone who may have been following the planned MarketHall project at the Sonoma County Fairgrounds will be sad to hear that the project is officially dead in the water. The Press-Democrat reports that the developer has walked away from the 70,000-square-foot food-and-wine marketplace, citing a bad economic and political climate. Also not looking so good is the $200 million Railroad Square project in Santa Rosa. But in Sebastopol, the enormous, 200,000-square-foot food, wine, and art center known as The Barlow chugs along, hoping to open by next spring. [Press-Democrat, Earlier]
