Flour + Water chef Thomas McNaughton has a cute pet pig everyone! Her name is Kona, and she’s a 6-month-old, 25-pound teacup pig. The Chron just profiled chef and pig over the weekend, and The Bold Italic goes further with a photo essay by Abby Wilcox of chefs in their home kitchens (some, like McNaughton and Craig Stoll, with pets) along with handwritten recipes of things they like to cook at home. Anthony Mangieri’s faella pasta recipe sounds especially simple and good, as do Melissa Perello’s crepes with stone fruit and McNaughton’s smoked chicken with salsa verde — assuming you all have your own smokers, right?
