Rotisseur, the Center City rotisserie joint that specializes in cage-, hormone-, and antibiotic-free roast chickens (they’re also Halal) that opened a few weeks ago, starts serving lunch today. In addition to its quarter, half, and whole chickens and the array of housemade sides, Rotisseur is unveiling two new sandwiches — chicken apple salad and a chicken banh mi — with the launch of its lunch service. And while on the subject of new lunch spots, Opa, Midtown Village’s still new-ish Greek restaurant will offer some freebies next week when it begins lunch.

On Monday, May 18, Opa is introducing lunch and offering guests a complimentary ham and cheese “toast,” a Greek pressed sandwich similar to panini. Of course the new menu features Gyro. Two in fact — lamb and chicken. Both come with pita, yogurt sauce, cucumber, onion, tomato and house-cut oregano fries or dressed greens. Other lunch options include a watermelon and feta salad, and a Greek burger. Check out the full lunch menu here.
