Unbeknownst to, well, everyone, Raw opened its NoLibs satellite in the space formerly known as Speck-is-going-to-open-in-any-minute, and no one noticed. In fact, a bartender told Grub Street Saturday that the sushi spot has been opened since Sunday, July 3, operating below the radar in a soft-launch mode. The space, which opens out to the Piazza, features outdoor seating, a bar and a sushi bar overlooking the kitchen. Chef Sam Yoon’s menu is much like the bill of fare offered at Raw’s old, original Midtown Village location, with assorted maki priced between $6 and $12 and Robata skewered items priced between $2 and $5.
