We’ve got a couple of new pop-up events on the radar for the nonstaurant-inclined: First off, Reform Club is a new Sunday night thing happening at Specchio (2331 Mission), organized by a trio of young industry pros: a chef (Allyson Harvie, chef de cuisine at Citizen Cake), a bartender (Dion Jardine, bar manager at Heaven’s Dog), and a sommelier (Becky Pezzullo, formerly of Bar Bambino, soon to be at the new Hidden Vine). The idea is four courses, for $40, with both cocktail and wine pairings ($25 extra), with equal attention to all three components of the meal. See the menu for the July 31 preview here, and make reservations for Sunday or any upcoming Sundays by emailing them at info@reformclubsf.com.

And, today the Feast brings news of some upcoming Monday pop-up dinners at Slim’s (333 11th Street) — the music venue co-owned by admitted food lover Boz Scaggs. These kick off Monday, August 1 with The Jetset Chef, from chef Alexander Marsh. That will be followed by The Corner denizens Cathead’s BBQ (August 8), and Radio Africa & Kitchen (August 15), and two more TBA. The meals will be served from 5:30 to 10 p.m., and it sounds like reservations aren’t necessary. [Feast]
