It’s a big day for bar news! Bernal Heights/La Lengua dive bar the International Club (80 29th Street) is changing hands, and Grub Street learns today that the new name will be Rock Bar. The new operators, Kevin Cline and Josephine White, are co-owners in nearby Front Porch, also on 29th Street. We’re still trying to reach them to get details about the plan, but it doesn’t look like there’ll be a food component, at least via the liquor license type. (But that doesn’t rule out ordering up some shrimp and grits from a few doors down!) We’re going to put this new project out about three months, give or take. [Grub Street]
