We thought that back-alley wine bar The Hidden Vine was just being taken over by sommelier Nicole Goddard and partner Sarah Trubnick and renamed The Barrel Room. As it happens, The Barrel Room (1/2 Cosmo Place) will be opening there in the fall, but The Hidden Vine is actually relocating, and will open in September at 408 Merchant Street, in the Financial District. Tablehopper hinted that they might be moving, and now we get confirmation from former Bar Bambino sommelier Becky Pezzullo, who’ll be working there and who’s also working on this Reform Club pop-up in the meantime.
