Well, this was pretty much inevitable: A restaurant called “Sweet Caroline’s” wants to replace Boylston Street’s Fenway Cantina. And, ahem, attorneys for the place humbly insist that “none of [the nearby restaurants] are providing the quality of food [Sweet Caroline’s owners] are providing.” According to them, “The restaurant would be similar to the owner’s Battery Park in the Financial District, and definitely not a sports bar like Remy’s or the Baseball Tavern.” Right now they’re on the lookout for a full liquor license. According to Universal Hub, Sweet Caroline’s owners “specialize in taking over failed bars and restaurants and classing them up.” At last, a classy place to eat near Fenway! [Universal Hub]
