Soul Daddy Is Dunzo in New York

Fans of America’s Next Great Restaurant (or people who followed David Rees’s brilliant recaps) may want to avert their eyes, for we have sad news indeed: Soul Daddy, the concept that won the now-canceled reality show, has shuttered its New York location. The Minneapolis and Los Angeles locations are still operating(Update: Eater hears that the Los Angeles location has kicked it, too), but this closing might make it a whole lot harder to convince people that the chain is “great.” At this point, we know you’re all thinking the same thing we are: Bobby Flay, Curtis Stone, and the other investors should have opened a Kale City instead.
