Actually, these flavorful organic fries with Daiya cheese, chili beans, Seitan cubes, and a shower of parsley are a recently revealed, off-menu item at M Café that the restaurant has been so far keeping a big secret. Unlike a lot of vegan food, these shouldn’t be kept in the basement. Available at both locations for $7.95, they might not endanger your favorite asada fries or oxtail poutine exactly, but they’re also just as unlikely to shave a few months off of your life.
