The Fairmont Copley Plaza’s Oak Room isn’t the only hotel mainstay gearing up for a possible makeover. Big changes are ahead for the Ritz-Carlton as well.
As Fork Lift noted yesterday, Avery Bar has quietly debuted within the ritzy Ritz. A rep tell us that their current restaurant, hard-to-pronounce Jer-Ne, will be replaced by a new, currently mysterious dining spot in the early fall. (The Herald says it’s a face-lift, but in an e-mail to Grub Street, their rep called it a “new restaurant.” Hmm.) Regardless, Avery will make its “official” debut alongside the new/old/face-lifted restaurant, though it’s really open for business now.
At least one thing’s for certain: They have a menu!
