Impress Your Date With the Off-Menu MyPlate Dish at Telepan

If you’re ready to embrace MyPlate but never eat a meal at home, never fear: The Post enlisted a trio of New York chefs to create their rendition of a dish that exemplifies the new nutrition guidelines. Eric Ripert paired salmon with wild black rice, ratatouille, and strawberries with yogurt (we’re not sure about having this all on the same plate … ); Lidia Bastianich made a pasta with bacon, spinach, and chickpeas, sprinkled with grana padano; and Bill Telepan placed a juicy chunk of pork atop peas and carrots, and served it with bulgar wheat. The latter two dishes are available off-menu (impress your date!) at Felidia and Telepan, respectively, for the next two weeks. [NYP]
