Soho: In preparation for the Veuve Cliquot Polo Classic, the bubbly company will be serving up sunset oysters and Champagne at the Mondrian SoHo Penthouse and Terrace. All proceeds will go to Urban Zen and Hope Help & Rebuild Haiti. [Grub Street]


Upper East Side: Italian food is often difficult for the gluten averse. Not anymore at Bar Italia. The restaurant has added a gluten-free menu featuring classics like pizza margherita and spaghetti alla carbonara. [Grub Street]


West Village:Wine Bar Bar’rique has added a lunch and a weekend brunch to their menu. [Grub Street]

In celebration of Memorial Day on Monday, Anfora will be serving an Apertivi of hot dogs, chili dogs, macaroni salad, and potato salad. Then, on Tuesday, the restaurant will be hosting a sherry tasting with Javier Hidalgo from La Gitana sherry. Williamsburg: On Saturday, May 28, Roberta’s will be hosting a beer and pizza party to benefit Farm Aid, an organization that supports family farms. For $35, you get a personal pizza, a local beer, raffle prizes, and live tunes all night. [Tasting Table]
